Well, I finally made it back to the freezers! I didn't post a before pic of my little freezer but did today because that is the makeover I'm most excited about! Notice the 2 level shelf that came with the freezer!!! A pain since nothing seemed to fit right. A yanked it out and put in a straight shelf I found at WalMart. It makes a huge difference. Notice that there is even room for a couple of frozen pizzas to fit beautifully.I purchased a couple of additional dishpans, re-sorted, and attached the cute labels I created. My sons can no longer say they can't find some hamburger!!
I'm still working on an inventory system, but that doesn't feel as necessary now that everything has a place. It is pretty easy to see everything. If you would like to have my word doc with the labels, I'd be glad to email you the file.

ReplyDeleteI totally need to do this! I hate standing in front of the freezer thinking, "I KNOW i have ____" but not being able to find it. Grrrrr!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel GREAT to get organized? You did an AMAZING job cleaning up your freezer! I do that about once a month to rotate through my food so it doesn't go bad or become overwhelming :) TFS
